The following table describes the URL search parameters that you can use with Enterprise Search.
URL Parameter Description Example
kSpecifies the keywords. You can only specify one value for this parameter.results.aspx?k=sharepoint%20search
sSpecifies the search scope. This parameter can contain multiple values, separated by %2c.results.aspx?s=SDKContent results.aspx?s=SDKContent%2cTechnicalArticles
vSpecifies the result view that is to be used for the query. This parameter must be either: 'relevance - results are sorted by relevance date - results are sorted by dateresults.aspx?v=date results.aspx?v=relevance
startSpecifies which results page number to show.results.aspx?start=3


If your search results page contains multiple queries, you can specify which query the parameter applies to by appending a number from 1 to 5, indicating the Search Query Results ID, between the parameter and the "=" character in the URL.
